Chicken Chow Mein

CHICKEN CHOW MEIN

INGREDIENTS:

  • 250 Gr medium egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 280 gr cooked chicken breast shredded
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 red pepper deseeded and chopped /sliced
  • 6 spring onions sliced
  • 100 gr beansprouts
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

METHOD:

  1. Break the noodles and place them in a pot with boiling water. Cover and let it stand while you prepare the other ingredients.
  2. Heat op oil in a wok and spread it to the sides.
  3. When the oil is hot, add the chicken, garlic, pepper, spring onions and beansprouts and stir fry for 5 min
  4. Drain the noodles and add them to the wok.
  5. Stir fry for 5 min.
  6. Drizzle the soy sauce and sesame oil all over the wok and toss well.
  7. Transfer to bowls and enjoy!
