Green Beans - Kerala - India



GREEN BEANS

  • 1/2 Kg beans
  • 1/4 tbsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tbsp Chilli Powder
  • salt
  • water
  • mustard seeds
  • oil
METHOD:
  1. Clean the full beans in fresh water.  Cut it to the same size.  
  2. Add 1/4 spoon Termuric Powder 
  3. Add 1/4spoon Chilli Powder 
  4. Add required salt.    
  5. Prepare the Pressure Cooker: Put 2 spoonful of water, mix well all ingredients.  Place it on the cooker and close lid.  
  6. When you hear the first bleep switch off the Gas.
  7. Discharge the steam lifting the heavy lid on the middle of the lid. 
  8. Heat up the oil in a frying pan
  9. Fry mustard seeds
  10. Add to the green beans.
