Chicken skewers



INGREDIENTS:
  • 460 gr skinless boneless chicken  
  • onions
  • 1 sachet of Hoisin & Garlic stir fry sauce
NEEDED:
  • wooden skewers
  • baking paper
  • a tray
  • an oven

METHOD:
  1. let the skewers soak in hot water for 30 min to avoid burning in the oven
  2. cut the chicken into little cubes 
  3. place stir fry sauce in a bowl
  4. add the chicken pieces and mix well, covering all pieces with the sauce
  5. let it marinate for 30 minutes
  6. preheat the oven on gas mark 6 or  200 C
  7. Cut up the onions in 2 x 2 pieces 
  8. place the chicken and onion pieces on the skewers alternating.
  9. line the baking tray with baking paper as the sauce will drip off
  10. place the chicken skewers on the tray in the middle of the oven
  11. bake the skewers in the oven for about 35-40 min 
  12. serve!
TIP: you can also add capsicum and / or tomato pieces to the skewers alongside the onion or any other vegetable you prefer.
