INGREDIENTS:
- 460 gr skinless boneless chicken
- onions
- 1 sachet of Hoisin & Garlic stir fry sauce
NEEDED:
- wooden skewers
- baking paper
- a tray
- an oven
METHOD:
- let the skewers soak in hot water for 30 min to avoid burning in the oven
- cut the chicken into little cubes
- place stir fry sauce in a bowl
- add the chicken pieces and mix well, covering all pieces with the sauce
- let it marinate for 30 minutes
- preheat the oven on gas mark 6 or 200 C
- Cut up the onions in 2 x 2 pieces
- place the chicken and onion pieces on the skewers alternating.
- line the baking tray with baking paper as the sauce will drip off
- place the chicken skewers on the tray in the middle of the oven
- bake the skewers in the oven for about 35-40 min
- serve!
TIP: you can also add capsicum and / or tomato pieces to the skewers alongside the onion or any other vegetable you prefer.
