INGREDIENTS:
- non-starchy potatoes. 2 big ones serves 1 person.
- oil
- salt
METHOD:
- Peel the potatoes
- Cut the potatoes into french fries
- Let the uncooked fries soak in cold water for at least 30 min. If the water turns white, drain and repeat.
- Dry the fries off with kitchen roll paper or a kitchen towel
- Place the fries in zip lock bags
- Store them in the fridge or freezer for at least 4 hrs
- Heat up the oil to 160 C
- Fry the fries for 3 min
- Put the fries aside when done, and let them get completely cold.
- Heat up the oil to 190 C
- Fry the fries for another 3 minutes.
- Place on a plate or in a basked lined with kitchen paper.
- Add salt to taste.
