MARZIPAN

- 250g icing sugar
- 250g finely ground blanched almonds
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
Method:

- Blend the icing sugar, finely ground almonds, egg whites, salt and almond extract in a blender until perfectly blended.
- Chill covered 24 hours to harden.
TIP: If you want, you can melt some chocolate au bain marie. Make shapes from the marzipan and use a toothpick to dip the marzipan shapes into the melted chocolate. Let it then dry and get hard again. Great treats for X-mas.
