INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken breast / thighs boneless, 1 cup
- Onion: 1 small chopped
- Arabic bread / Pita bread: 4
- Tomato: 1 chopped
- Cabbage 1/4 cup chopped
- Garlic paste: 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Powder: 1 tsp
- Mayonaise: 2 tbsp
- Barbeque Masala / Garam Masala: 1 tsp
- Pepper Powder: 1 tsp
- Yoghurt: 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Olive Oil: 3 tbsp (sauce)
- Garlic: 1/2 tsp (sauce)
- Yoghurt: 3 tbsp (sauce)
- Lemon Juice: 3 tsp (sauce)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Wash and clean the chicken, cut into thin strips. Marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, cumin seed powder, barbeque masala powder, salt, garlic paste, pepper powder and turmeric powder. Let the marinate sit for 4 hours in refrigerator.
Chop the veggies and set aside
For making sauce, in a bowl add yogurt, olive oil, garlic paste, yogurt, lemon juice, mayonnaise and salt. Combine well and set aside.
Heat a pan with 1 tbsp oil and fry the marinated chicken pieces, set aside.
Heat a pan and just warm the arabic bread by turning both sides for couple of minutes.
Then spread the sauce on the bread pieces.
Then spread few spoons of veggies.
Now add the chicken strips on the bread.
Roll it gently with the help of butter paper. Serve along with sauce and pickled carrots and green chillies.
