Pork Schnitzel (grill)

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 120g breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Can be made using any George Foreman grill – we recommend the Large Fit Grill or Smokeless BBQ Grill.

  1. Remove any excess fat from the pork chops and beat lightly with a meat tenderiser or rolling pin until approximately ½cm in thickness, ensuring they are an even depth all over.
  2. In a shallow bowl or high-sided dish, mix the breadcrumbs with some salt and pepper. Mix the eggs in another similar bowl or dish, whisking thoroughly.
  3. Dip each pork chop into the egg mixture, making sure they are fully covered, and then let any excess drip away. Then quickly dip into the breadcrumbs until well coated.
  4. Pre-heat your favourite George Foreman Grill to maximum. Once up to temperature, cook the breaded pork on the grill with the lid down for 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
