Prawn Curry 2

 

Ingredientes

  • 10 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 cups of sliced onion
  • 2 cups of chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tsp ginger paste
  • 4 tsp garlic paste
  • curry leaves
  • 4 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 6 tsp kashmiri chili powder
  • 2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 600 gr prawns
  • 4 tbsp fresh coriander chopped for garnishing

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and fennel seeds and let them crackle for a few seconds
  2. Add onion and 1/2 tsp salt and cook until onion turns brown
  3. Add tomato, ginger, garlic and curry leaves and cook for 3-4 min
  4. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder and garam masala powder and cook for a min
  5. Add a cup of water and some salt
  6. Cover the pan and cook for 3-4 min on medium heat
  7. Add prawns and cook for 5-6 min
  8. Garnish with coriander and serve hot
