Ingredientes
- 10 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cups of sliced onion
- 2 cups of chopped tomatoes
- 2 tsp ginger paste
- 4 tsp garlic paste
- curry leaves
- 4 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 6 tsp kashmiri chili powder
- 2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 600 gr prawns
- 4 tbsp fresh coriander chopped for garnishing
Method
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and fennel seeds and let them crackle for a few seconds
- Add onion and 1/2 tsp salt and cook until onion turns brown
- Add tomato, ginger, garlic and curry leaves and cook for 3-4 min
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder and garam masala powder and cook for a min
- Add a cup of water and some salt
- Cover the pan and cook for 3-4 min on medium heat
- Add prawns and cook for 5-6 min
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot
