Ingredients
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1,5 liter chicken stock
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 big tomato diced
- 1 tbsp sambal oelek
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- some tomato paste to thicken
- Salt & pepper to taste
- broken pasta or vermicelli
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large pot add the chicken stock and bring to boil
- Add the onions, celery, and carrots.
- Add the garlic, basil, and oregano.
- Add all the tomatoes, sambal into the pot and stir.
- Season the soup with chili flakes, salt and pepper.
- When done (20-30 min cooking) add the vermicelli
