Hamburgers Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 500 gr lean ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Add the beef and seasoning to a bowl, and use your hands or a spatula to combine the ingredients. Shape the burgers into similar sized patties – this recipe makes 4 quarter pounders but you can make them smaller if you prefer.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 390 °F / 200 °C. If you’re using very lean ground beef, you will want to spray your air fryer basket with some olive oil spray or other cooking spray to prevent the burgers from sticking to it.
  3. Place the burgers in the basket. Air fry for 3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3 minutes. Make sure that they are cooked through.
  4. If you want to add cheese, you can place the cheese on top of the hamburgers, turn the air fryer off, then place them back in the basket. It’s important that the air fryer is turned off, or you might find that the cheese simply flies off the burgers!
  5. Serve the air fryer burgers hot with your favorite toppings and sides.

Notes

The exact cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of your burgers and how done you like them. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that you get the result you want.

Don’t overcrowd the basket.

You can use any seasoning you like, or even add things like caramelized onions, crumbled feta cheese or finely chopped herbs.
