Ingredients:
- 1 medium sized onion (100gr)
- 2 medium sized tomatoes (200gr)
- 1 tsp of ginger & garlic paste
- green chillies
- oil (mustard oil, peanut oil, ghee, sesame oil)
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tbsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
Method:
- chop the onion and tomato really small and fine or puree it
- deseed the chillies
- Heat oil in a heavy thick bottom pan (to avoid burning) on medium heat
- Add the onion (paste) and ginger/garlic paste and stir well for 3-4 min
- Add the spices
- Cook for about a minute, add water if needed
- Add tomato puree and mix it up
- Cook it by 5 more minutes
