Coriander / Cilantro / Dhania Chicken Curry

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Kilo chicken
  • 6 onion (medium)

Grind1

  • 2 tbsps ginger
  • 2 tbsps garlic
  • 9 Chilly Green
  • 1.5 Teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon turmeric Powder
  • 2 tbsps coriander Powder
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 Teaspoon fennel Powder
  • 2 tbsps water

Grind2

  • 3 tomato (medium)
  • ½ Cups coriander leaves
  • salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat oil. Add finely sliced onions and salt. Cook till it becomes golden brown color.
  2. Meanwhile, grind together items listed in Grind1 section into a fine paste. Add it to the above mixture.Cook for 3 minutes. Add oil if needed.
  3. Grind together items in Grind2 section to a smooth paste.Cook for around 5 minutes.
  4. Add ¾ cup water. Mix it well. Adjust the salt. Then add cleaned chicken pieces.
  5. Cover and cook it until chicken is done. Check the consistency of the gravy as per required. Chicken curry is ready to be served.
