Quick Korean chicken Noodles

 


INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 packs of instant noodles
  • sesame oil
  • 1 medium sized onion chopped
  • 250-300 gr diced chicken breast
  • 1/3 cup dark soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoons Gochujang chili paste
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • cold water
  • 1 green onion chopped

METHOD:

  1. Heat the oil in a heavy based pan or wok
  2. Add the onion and fry until golden brown
  3. Add the chopped garlic and fry for a few minutes
  4. Add the soy sauce
  5. Add the rice vinegar
  6. Add the sugar
  7. Add the chili paste and mix every thing up and cook for a few minutes
  8. Add the chicken and mix well, cook until done (no pink inside)
  9. Add a little bit of cold water
  10. Cook the noodles according to instructions on package
  11. When done, drain the noodles and add to the sauce mixture
  12. Mix well and cook for a few minutes more.
  13. Serve with chopped spring onion
