Donuts

DONUTS


INGREDIENTS:
  • 350 gr plain flour
  • 125 gr butter or margarine softened
  • 100 g caster sugar
  • 180 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt


METHOD:
  1. Put in a large bowl: flour, caster sugar, baking powder and salt. mix well.
  2. Add the butter, egg and milk and mix with an electric blender until the mixture is thick and smooth
  3. preheat your donut maker for 4-5 min
  4. spoon 2 mixture evenly into each mould and close the lid
  5. cook for 4,5 min until the donuts are golden brown and soft


TIP:
After cooking, brush the donuts with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Cover the donuts in icing sugar and add sweet toppings of your choice.
