Bread Pudding - Belgium



INGREDIENTS:


  • A loaf of bread (800 gr) torn into small pieces
  • Raisins
  • Milk as required
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar or some vanilla extract drops *
  • Cinnamon Powder
  • Bread crumbs
  • Butter

METHOD:

  1. Grease a baking container with butter
  2. Coat it with cinnamon powder so you can no longer see any butter
  3. Coat it again with bread crubs
  4. Mix the raisins, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla and the bread pieces in a bowl until it's a paste
  5. Fill the container evenly
  6. Bake at 180 C for 01:15 hrs
