Green Beans - Belgium




INGREDIENTS:

  • 500 gr bean or 1 can of cut French green beans
  • 1 onion chopped
  • lemon juice
  • salt
  • water
  • nutmeg

METHOD:

  1. Wash the beans and cut the ends of the beans. If the beans are too long, cut them in pieces.
  2. Boil in water for 10 min
  3. Drain the beans
  4. fry the onion
  5. add beans to the onion
  6. Add some lemon juice
  7. Add salt to taste
NOTE:
If a can of beans is used instead of fresh beans, boil the beans in the water that came with the can.
