Spaghetti Bolognese - Belgium




IINGREDIENTS:

  • 500 gr minced beef
  • 2 small onions or 1 big onion
  • 2 big ripe tomatoes chopped 
  • 1 can of chopped tomaties
  • Italian passatta or any pasta sauce like Dolmio one jar of 500-750 gr
  • salt 
  • pepper
  • tomato puree
  • Chilli sauce (Maggi Hot & Sweet preferably)
  • 1 tbsp sambal Oelek
  • 1/2 tbsp dried red chili flakes

METHOD:

  1. Fry the beef and set aside when brown
  2. Fry the onion till golden
  3. Add the chopped tomaties
  4. Add salt and pepper
  5. Add dried red chili flakes
  6. Simmer for few minutes
  7. Add passata / pasta sauce
  8. Add sambal oelek
  9. Add beef
  10. Adjust salt and pepper again to taste
  11. Add tomato puree
  12. Add chili sauce for a spicy zing
