Apple Muffins

APPLE MUFFINS


INGREDIENTS:
  • 175 gr self rising flour
  • 5 mg baking powder
  • 50 gr margarine
  • 100 caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 75 ml milk
  • 1/2 cooking apple
METHOD:
  1. Preheat oven on 200 C / gas 6
  2. Sieve flour and baking powder together in a large bowl
  3. Add margarine to the bowl until the mixture resembles bread crumbs
  4. Add the caster sugar and mix well
  5. Beat eggs and milk together in a measuring jug with a fork
  6. Peel, quarter and dice the apple
  7. Add the apple to the large bowl
  8. Add the milk and eggs mix to the large bowl and stir with a wooden spoon
  9. Spoon mixture into paper cases
  10. Bake in the oven for 15 - 20 min until golden and risen
  11. Remove from oven.
