Malabar Chicken Samosas

MALABAR CHICKEN SAMOSAS


INGREDIENTS SAMOSA SHEET:
  • 2 Cups all purpose flour / maida
  • Ghee
  • warm water
  • salt
INGREDIENTS SAMOSA FILLING
  • 1/2 kg chicken mince
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tbsp garam masala powder
METHOD:
  1. Heat up oil in a pan and cook the mince with all the ingredients.
  2. Stir fry until dry
  3. make the dough using the flour, ghee and salt
  4. roll the dough into thin rough shapes
  5. cut each circle into 4 pieces
  6. fill the chicken masala into the pieces and fold to make triangles
  7. Fry each triangle in hot oil until crispy and golden brown
