Ingredients
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 4 numbers.
• Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Ginger (1 inch) & garlic - 4 piece.
• Coriander (crushed) - 1 tablespoons.
• Pepper corns - 5 numbers.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Whole garam masala (each) - 2 numbers.
• Small tomatoes (cut into 2 halves) - 5 numbers.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Butter - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Sugar - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Roots & stems of coriander & mint - 1 bunch.
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, add whole garam masala, cumin seeds, pepper corns, coriander, ginger, garlic, turmeric,
- Cook for a minute and add green chilies, roots and stems of mint and coriander, small tomatoes, water, put the lid on simmer for 45 min.
- Strain this and boil once again add sugar, salt.
- Heat butter in a pan, add cumin seeds, thin slices of garlic, chopped coriander leaves, cook this in the butter, pour the tadaka in to the shorba.
