Ingredients
- Russet Potatoes- 3
- Non-stick cooking spray
- Ground black pepper
- Salt
Instructions
- Wash the potatoes & peel off the skin.
- Pat dry the potatoes with kitchen paper towel.
- Cut the potatoes into french fries.
- Pat dry the fries with kitchen paper towel.
- Place the air fryer basket into the stainless steel pot.
- Grease the basket with non-stick cooking spray.
- Add the fries into the basket.
- Spread it evenly, make into a bed. Don't stack up the fries.
- Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- Shake the air fryer basket.
- Close the Instant Pot with the air fryer lid.
- Select Air Fry, set temperature to 375 F/190C, time 25 minutes. Click start.
- Halfway through, after 13 minutes of air frying.
- Open the lid. The pot & basket are super hot.
- Wear mitten and shake the air fryer basket, for even mixing & air frying.
- Close with the lid & continue air frying for the remaining 12 minutes.
- After total of 25 minutes of air frying, open the lid.
- Transfer to a plate.
- Season with ground black pepper & salt.
FROZEN FRIES
- Place the air fryer basket in the air fryer.
- Add half a bag of frozen french fries to the basket and make sure they're evenly spread out.
- Close the lid and air fry for 15 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- If you are using an Instant Pot air fryer, partway through cooking, the display says turn Food. If you are using an air fryer without this feature, set a timer to turn the fries 10 minutes into the cooking process.
- Open the lid and using silicone mitts, lift the basket and shake the contents so the fries are tossed well. Close the lid and continue cooking.
- When the cooking time is up, open the lid and check to make sure the fries are cooked to your liking. Toss the fries again and air fry for another 2 minutes, if desired.
