Ingredients
for the potatoes
- 1200 gr of diced potatoes
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp of chili powder
- sea salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- Olive oil
For the beef:
- Olive oil
- 500 gr beef mince
- 4 cloves of garlic minced
- 4 stems of spring onions
- 1,5 tsp cumin powder
- 2 tsp dried Italian herbs
- sea salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tins of chopped tomatoes
Method
- Mix the diced potatoes with the herbs and spices
- Place them on a lined baking tray and put in oven on 190 C for 45 min.
- Heat up olive oil in a pan and add the beef mince and fry till no longer pink
- Add the garlic
- Add the spring onions
- Add the cumin, Italian herbs, salt and pepper and stir
- Add chopped tomatoes
- Mix well and bring to boil
- Simmer for 10 min
- Serve potatoes and beef mixture in one dish or separately if preferred.
