Method
Melt the butter until brown. Season the meat and fry it on both sides in a frying pan. Add the meat to a cast iron pot.
Add water to the pan and stir to clean the pan. Add the water to the meat.
Add flour to the meat and mix properly.
Add new butter in the pan and melt until brown.
Peel and cut 2 onions in big chunks and fry in the pan. When browned, add some water and stir to clean the pan. Add to the pot of meat.
Heat up the beer and add it to the meat.
Lower the heat.
Heavily coat a slice of bread with mustard and put this on top of the meat.
Put the lid on but do not close completely. Simmer for a minimum of 45 min.
Tip: you can add mushrooms or carrots to the stew if preferred
