Kerala Egg Roast

 

Ingredients

  • Egg- 5 nos
  • Onion – 3 nos
  • Tomatoes – 2 nos
  • Ginger – 1 nos
  • Garlic – 8 or 9 nos
  • Curry leaves – 2 or 3 sprigs
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tbsp
  • Oil – 3 or 4 tbsp

Method

  1. Heat water in a pan add eggs and salt .
  2. Boiled them well.
  3. Drain boiled eggs and put in a bowl filled with cold water .
  4. saute them well for few minutes.
  5. Then add chopped onion and sauté them well.
  6. sprinkle some salt and and saute till onion become transluent
  7. Then add chopped tomatoes and saute them well, till they become soften.
  8. Then add some spices like red chilli powder ,turmeric powder and pepper powder .
  9. saute until the raw smell of the spices completely disappears.
  10. Add aqurate amount of water and stir them well
  11. Then add boiled egg and mix them properly.
  12. Cook for few minutes.
  13. Remove from fire and keep aside.
  14. Serve the tasty egg roast with appam
