Kerala Garlic Pickle

 

Ingredients

  • Coconut oil-3tbsp
  • Mustard seeds -2Tsp
  • Green chilli-2
  • Curry leaves
  • Garlic -200g
  • Red chilli power- 3 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida- 1/2 tsp
  • Salt-2tbsp
  • Fenugreek powder-1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar - as needed

Method

  1. Firstly peel the garlic and ginger.
  2. Wash the garlic, ginger and green chilli thoroughly.
  3. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed, ginger, green chilli, curry leaves, garlic and fry well.
  4. Then add red chilli powder, asafoetida, salt, fenugreek powder and mixed well.cook for 15 mintues.
  5. Add vinger and mixed well
