Ingredients
- Mango – 1 kg
- Curry leaves – 3 sprigs
- Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
- Fenugreek powder – 1 tsp
- Fenugreek seed – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 ½ tsp
- Asafoetida powder – 2tsp
- Dry red chilli – 3 nos
- Vinegar – 1 tbsp
- Mustard seed – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 or2 tsp
- Oil – 2 or 3 tbsp
Method
- Firstly, wash the raw mangoes ,then peel and cut into small pieces, set aside.
- Take a large bowl, add mango pieces, salt, red chilli powder, fenugreek powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida powder and curry leaves, mix them well and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed let it splutter, add dry red chilli, fenugreek seed, curry leaves asafoetida a powder and vinegar. fry them well .
- Then pour the mixture into the mango mixing pan and combine them well.
- The instant mango pickle is ready to serve.
