Japanese beef salad
Ingredients:
- 125 grams noodles
- ½ cucumber
- ½ bunch radish
- 75 grams watercress
- 6 tbsp Japanese soy sauce
- 4 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp wasabi paste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 steaks
- 2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
Method:
- Break the noodles in half and prepare according to the instructions on the packaging. Drain and rinse with cold running water.
- Peel the cucumber and cut into strips.
- Cut off the radish leaves and wash. Cut the radish into wedges.
- Remove any hard stems from the watercress.
- Beat the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, wasabi and sesame oil into a dressing.
- Brush the steaks with oil.
- Heat the (grill) pan and fry the steaks. Let the meat rest on a cutting board for 1 minute. Then cut into thin slices.
- Divide the noodles over the plates.
- Mix the watercress, radish leaves and cucumber with the dressing.
- Spoon the salad onto the noodles and divide the radish over it.
- Place the steak on the salad and sprinkle with salt, pepper and sesame seeds.
