Chicken popcorn

 


Ingredients:

  • 1kg of diced chicken breast
  • sour cream
  • black pepper
  • Oregano
  • garlic powder
  • chili powder
  • paprika powder
  • wheat flour
  • bread crumbs
  • salt

Method:

  1. Place the diced chicken in a bowl
  2. Add sour cream, black pepper, garlic powder, chili powder and oregano and mix well.
  3. Add paprika powder and mix well
  4. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 1 hr
  5. Mix the wheat flour  and bread crumbs in a bowl
  6. Add pepper and salt to the wheat and bread crumbs mix
  7. Coat the chicken pieces with the wheat/bread crumbs mixture
  8. Heat up oil in a deep large pan.
  9. Deep fry the chicken pieces
  10. Use a fork to separate the pieces so they don't stick
  11. When brown and fried, remove the chicken from the oil using a slotted spoon and place on kitchen roll to absorb the oil.
