Kerala Chicken fry pieces

 


Ingredients

  • Chicken – 1 kg
  • Ginger – 1 nos
  • Garlic – 6 or 7 nos
  • Curry leaves – 4 to 5 sprigs
  • Green chilli – 3 to 4 nos
  • Fennel seed – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon – 1 nos
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
  • Pepper powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Corn flour – 1/2 cup
  • Basan flour -1 cup
  • Salt – 1 or 2 tbsp
  • Oil – 1/2ltr

Method

  1. Take a pan, add cleaned chicken pieces.
  2. Then add fennel seed,turmeric powder, and red chilli powder.
  3. Add coriander powder, ginger garlic paste and pepper powder.
  4. Then add pepper powder, corn flour, basan flour and salt.
  5. Then add lemon juice and oil.
  6. Then add curry leaves and green chilli and mix them well.
  7. Cover and marinate for half an hour.
  8. Heat oil in a pan and add marinated chicken.
  9. Fry them well till they become a light golden brown.
  10. Drain and set aside.
  11. Again repeating the same process on balanced marinated chicken.
  12. After frying the chicken add green chilli and curry leaves.
  13. Fry them well and drain.
  14. Then add the top of the fried chicken and mix them well.
  15. Serve the tasty chicken pakoda with meals
